Gazprom to launch production at Yuzhno-Kirinskoye in 2023–2024
MOSCOW, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom plans to launch production of natural gas at the Yuzhno-Kirinskoye field located in the shelf zone of the Sakhalin Island in 2023–2024, as seen by PRIME on Monday in the company’s Eurobond prospectus.
The company expects the field to reach its projected production capacity of 21 billion cubic meters of gas a year in 11 years since the launch date.
The field’s reserves amount to 636.6 billion cubic meters of gas, 97.3 million tonnes of gas condensate, and less than 5 million tonnes of oil under the C1+C2 categories.
